RECAP: Northwood used a strong final round to place second at the Battle in Belmont Monday-Tuesday (October 16-17).

INSIDE THE EVENT

  • Northwood shot matching team scores of 323 and 316 to finish at 639 overall.
  • Wayne State was the overall winner at 634 (311-323).
  • The Timberwolves stood in fourth place after day one, but their final-round 316 was five shots better than any other team in the event.
  • Lake Superior State placed third overall (315-326=641), followed by Tiffin in fourth (321-324=645).
  • A total of eight teams took part in the event.

  • Ali Martus: 79-80=159 – tied for seventh overall
  • Kasey Harter: 82-78=160 – tied for ninth
  • Monica Gabriele: 81-80=161 – tied for 11th overall
